Dr. Md Iftekher Iqbal (Raju) obtained his MBBS from Ibrahim Medical College, Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2010. He also obtained his post-graduation (Master in Surgery, M.S.) in Ophthalmology in 2019 from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He finished his long-term medical and surgical fellowship in glaucoma at Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital. He is also actively involved with teaching and mentoring in short-term and long-term fellowship programs for cataracts (both MSICS and Phaco) and glaucoma run by his institute.

He working as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Glaucoma Department of the Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He also working as a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Phaco Surgeon at Bangladesh Eye Hospital.
